Ever wondered who is related to who? Well some computer vision researchers have tried to determine this automatically and this project aims to investigate the area and hopefully come up with something new.
The concept for this project is drawn from the paper “Kinship Verification with Custom Sampling and Hard Contrastive Loss” from VISAPP 2026 (See SciTePress – Publication Details). There is a dataset available online (See GitHub – visionjo/fiw: Ground truth and development kit for the data of the Families In the Wild (FIW) dataset. · GitHub).
