Organisations aiming to bring AI-based products onto the European Single Market must assess risks and compliance issues against a range of regulatory acts. While some legislation is supported by technical standards or codes of practice, organsiations increasingly have to track requirements from multiple digital regulatory acts, e.g. the AI Act, GDPR, the Data Act, the Cyber Resilience Act, in addition to regulations that apply in specific sector, e.g. for medical devices, robotics or automative [1]. Simply cataloguing and tracking these requirements is a major undertaking. This project will build on an existing open schema for expressing regulatory requirements in a knowledge graph format that has been applied to some individual articles of the AI Act [2] to develop a mechanism for automatically extracting such fine-grained graph representations of requirements from multiple regulations and validate them for use in compliance tracking scenarios.
