Increasingly, patients gather data relevant to their healthcare on their phones and via wearable or home-based sensors. When this data is intended for healthcare professionals it is known as patient generated health data (PGHD). But getting that data into a form that can be shared seamlessly with the healthcare system is a challenge. And clinicians have concerns about the quality of the data where it came from and to what extent they can trust it. There is a range of possible projects in this space, from more technical (e.g. integrating data sources, analysing data, visualising data), to more socio-technical (e.g. how patients and clinicians engage with and experience PGHD data).
