Can we automatically determine clothing types/styles by analysing webcam footage? (Looking at colours, textures, hats, shoes, etc.). Will we get different statistics in different locations/regions/countries? Or alternatively could we emulate systems like StyleFinder which determine the brand of clothes from a photograph?
There are datasets out there which may help (e.g. Fashion Product Images Dataset).
