Microscopic Simulation of traffic on tolled roads with heterogeneous Value of Time.

Final Year Project.

The relative value that someone places on their time varies from person to person and even from moment to moment for the same person.

Current microscopic traffic simulators like Sumo do not provide a means of collecting user preference data relating to the time and cost of various routes.

In this project an interface will be developed to allow users to reveal how much they value their time by selecting between various routes at various levels of toll. The values learned will then be used to model the heterogeneous Value of Time (VoT) values inferred in a microscopic traffic simulation.
